Description

Reach the cow barns at La Madone (m359), cross the mountain stream and, at marker m367, head long the Ponset valley. The path climbs alongside the mountain stream then forks to the right, thereby going around Mont Caval to La Baisse des 5 Lacs (m366). Head down to the Prals lakes and then reach a small col; subsequently head down a slightly rugged path before continuing through the Alpine pastures.

At marker m364 (2149m), a small and quite steep path leads to La Baisse de Prals (m365). Here, take the path to the left which heads down to Saint-Grat.
