Rifugio Genova - Figari

The Genova-Figari refuge stands between two lakes: the Brocan, a natural alpine lake, and the artificial reservoir of Chiotàs, one of the largest in Europe. Easy to access, surrounded by meadows and the two lakes, it overlooks the walls of the peaks dell'Argentera, which with its 3300 m. it is the highest peak of the massif, and offers the opportunity to admire the numerous species of animals: ibexes, chamois, marmots, stoats, eagles, together with rare botanical species such as saxifrage florulenta, etc.

The structure of the refuge has a refreshment room with an adjoining bar on the ground floor. On the first floor are the bedrooms for two, three and four people. Spacious dormitories on the second floor. The bathrooms are located on the first two floors of the building and in an external room, the showers on the ground floor and outside.

Hikers, mountaineers and families can relax or have fun climbing on the small climbing wall or on the equipped routes not far from the refuge, make traverses to the other refuges or engage in the climbing routes of all difficulties found on the surrounding walls.
