Nestled among some trees along a promontory, chapelle Sainte-Anne ovrlooks the wild valley of Bendola; every year, a pilgrimage brings several worshippers to the area, as a procession from Saorge to the smalle sanctuary.
Description
From the church of La Madonne de Poggio located in the south of the village, take the track (marker 161) which heads up the Bendola valley. After the chapel of Sainte Anne (529m), the track heads downhill and becomes a path (428m). Continue uphill towards the oratory of La Madonina (1005m) (marker 169) and Pas du Muratone (marker 170) (1157m). From the col, follow the downhill path along the other face towards the Bausson bridge. You will find a track which you can follow to La Madone de Passoscio. A few metres after the church, lower down, take the path (not the track) which heads down to Pigna.
