The Lorenzo Bozano Mountain Hut is located in the municipality of Valdieri (CN), in the Gesso Valley, within the Maritime Alps Regional Nature Park.

It stands at the foot of the southern face of Corno Stella in the upper Argentera valley.
It is an ideal starting point for mountaineers and free climbers, who can choose from about a hundred routes ranging from 200 to 800 meters in elevation gain, as well as climbing on short routes (1 or 2 pitches) or on the boulders around the hut. It is also an excellent destination for hikers.
The refuge is dedicated to Lorenzo Bozano, who served first as secretary and vice president for 18 years, and finally as president of the Ligurian Section of the CAI from 1904 to 1913.
A pioneer and driving force behind mountaineering in Genoa, he was one of the founders of the Club Alpino Accademico.
