The refuge is located on the beautiful plateau of Pian delle Gorre, an ideal place for a day outdoors thanks to the ease of access. Numerous itineraries on the park's paths of varying difficulty start from the refuge, including the route of the Marguareis tour. In winter, the property is located on the Pesio valley Nordic ski circuit.
