Rifugio Genova - Figari 2009 m

Easily accessible and surrounded by meadows and two lakes, it overlooks the peaks of the Argentera range, the highest of which, at 3,300 meters, bears the same name. The refuge is the ideal place to admire numerous animal species, such as ibex, chamois, marmots, stoats, and eagles, along with rare botanical species, among which the Argentera saxifrage (Saxifraga florulenta) stands out.

The refuge features a dining room with an attached bar on the ground floor. The first floor houses small bedrooms, and the second floor has spacious dormitories. Bathrooms are located on the first two floors of the building and in an outdoor area; showers are on the ground floor and outdoors.
Hikers, mountaineers, and families can relax or enjoy climbing at the small climbing wall or on the equipped routes a short distance from the refuge, make cross-country treks to other refuges, or tackle climbing routes of all difficulty levels found on the surrounding walls.
