Rifugio Franco Remondino 2464 m
The tall tower that characterizes it, built alongside the existing structure, was completed in 2000, giving the refuge its current appearance.
It features a large outdoor terrace with seating for about thirty people and a magnificent fountain set on a beautiful, sunny granite slab.
A starting point for the ascent to the South Peak of Argentera, the highest peak in the Maritime Alps, the refuge is also located along the Alta Via dei Re hiking trail.
