The Balma Meris Alpine Inn is a small mountain lodge housed in a recently renovated stone building.
The lodge is located in the center of the village of Sant'Anna, a typical mountain settlement nestled along the Gesso Stream at the confluence of the Meris Valley. Sant'Anna is the only permanently inhabited village within the Maritime Alps Regional Nature Park.

The Locanda Alpina Balma Meris is the ideal starting point for the challenging Alta Via dei Re trek, which crosses the entire park in seven stages. Among the daily excursion options, we recommend the hike up to the Dante Livio Bianco Mountain Hut, to explore and appreciate the Park’s botanical and faunal diversity, or the short loop trail of Lou Viol di Tait, which allows you to visit ancient abandoned villages where the houses had roofs made of rye straw.
In the village of Sant’Anna, you can visit the small but well-maintained Ecomuseo della Segale.
