Rifugio del Balùr 1780 m
It stands near Colle Balur, in the Gesso Valley, more precisely in the Roaschia side valley, a few kilometers south of the village. It separates Mount Balur (1,827 m) from Mount Testas (1,830 m) and offers a remarkable view of nearby Bisalta and, on the opposite side, of Mount Bussaia and Punta del Van.

Opening: from late May to late September, subject to key pickup and the caretaker’s presence; the caretaker is on site on weekends during the opening period.
Beds: 12 in a single dormitory

Facilities: the shelter is unstaffed; drinks, platters, and sandwiches available on weekends; untreated water, solar panels, gas stove, and dishes.
